From Steel Coil to Container-Ready Racking in 6 Steps
Every upright and beam that leaves the AME Rack plant has passed through the same disciplined six-step production line โ engineered for dimensional precision, structural integrity and a finish that survives 15 years in the field.
Upright CNC Punching
CNC presses punch the slot pattern down each upright at 50mm / 75mm pitch, so beam hooks lock cleanly at any height. Hole positioning is held within ยฑ0.3mm for full beam-to-frame interchangeability.
Roll-Forming
Q235B / Q345B steel coil is fed through 15 parallel roll-forming lines, progressively shaped into the final upright and beam profile in one continuous pass โ no welding seam, no weak point.
Robotic Welding
End-plate connectors are welded to both ends of each beam, while a load-spreading base footplate is welded to every upright โ increasing bearing area and giving you pre-drilled holes for floor anchoring.
Acid Pickling
Welded frames are bathed in a controlled acid solution to strip mill scale, rust and welding residue โ leaving a chemically clean, microscopically rough surface that locks the powder coat to the steel.
Powder Coating
Components travel through a continuous-flow electrostatic spray booth, baked at 180โ200ยฐC โ delivering uniform 60โ100ฮผm DFT, even pigment density and a finish that survives 1,000h salt-spray testing.
Packing & Loading
Each component is sleeved in bubble wrap, bundled, then crated in heavy-duty export cartons with corner protectors. Average 94% container utilisation โ verified by time-lapse loading video before vessel departure.
